Gene Waddy Talks about Social Networking
DIVERSANT CEO Gene Waddy shared his thoughts about the importance of social media as a recruiting tool in the April issue of Staffing Industry Review ("Developing a Social Media Plan"). As quoted in the lengthy article, Gene noted that "You have to be on social media." Gene went on to describe the benefits of having a deliberate social media strategy, and how DIVERSANT's plans are already bearing fruit.

DIVERSANT Personnel share texting tactics
DIVERSANT Service Delivery Manager Andrea Lambert, and Senior Technical Recruiter Nazreen Seecharran were both quoted in a recent SI Review article about the business benefits of texting ("Recruiters (and Staffing) Text Messaging" SI Review. April 2010). In the article, Nazreen observed that texting was a good way to reach candidates quickly; "Everyone wants to know who is texting them" she noted. Her colleague Andrea uses texting to communicate with clients as well as with her own staff; it's "a good follow-up" she remarked.
