D.C. Area Team Volunteers to Provide Gifts for Local Families

by DIVERSANT on December 15, 2017

Our Washington, D.C. office, the newest office location for the firm, didn’t waste any time in getting out to help the local community. The team pulled together to volunteer with The Salvation Army Arlington to help organize and package gifts for local families.  The Angel Tree Program has been operating for 35 years to make sure that children of struggling families can also enjoy the holiday season.  The organization is “one of the largest in-kind corporate giving programs in the National Capital area.”

“We had a blast last night!,” mentioned Matt Tartaglia, managing director for the local office. “It was a great experience to work with these wonderful individuals who dedicate their lives and organize the program each year.” This Angel Tree program in Arlington, Virginia will provide gift bags to over 13,000 families. This is an excellent way to give back to the local community. “It was a humbling experience that gave us all the perspective to feel even more grateful for our blessings. We look forward to continuing this effort of giving back to our community and to representing DIVERSANT’s name with honor and respect.”

With the holiday season upon us, it’s a great time to get involved in local community charities.  As a firm that promotes diversity while also uplifting the community we serve, it’s these type of activities that demonstrate the type of organization we promote.
