November Hiring Report
Welcome or our November Monthly Hiring Report. Nonfarm payroll employment increased by 261,000 in October per the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Unemployment is now 4.1%, a little lower than the previous month. Job gains were led by the leisure and hospitality, 106,000, followed by Professional and Business Services, 50,000, and Education and Health Services with job adds of 41,000. Notable job losses were in Retail Trade which dipped by (-8,000) and Information which declined by (-1,000).
The tech skill highlight for this month is User (UX) Experience with 512,827 job postings. Career Builder reports an estimated 96,405 candidates are actively seeking jobs in this area.
