In June 2018, one of our clients needed a senior project manager to oversee high-priority application development projects This role required someone with great attention to detail and strong communication skills. Joseph (Joe) Maiorana’s 10 years of experience in project management made him one of the top candidates for the job. After several interviews, Joe was chosen for the role and of course, he did not disappoint. Joe’s excellent work as a project manager was immediately recognized by his onsite supervisor. One manager shared, “Joe is a fabulous project manager. Whenever someone says ‘check with Joe,’ I just to listen. He has it all covered.” This manager also stated, “Joe is able to keep track of many, many moving parts, across a large group of projects. Even when faced with failure he focuses on the positive and moving forward, rather than dwelling on the mistake. These are just a few examples of Joe’s contributions to his role. D: Joseph, you have been working with DIVERSANT for several years. Thank you for choosing to work our firm and for doing an outstanding job supporting our client. Please share why you chose a career in information technology?
JM: I’ve been working in IT for many years and I’ve always been fascinated with technology and the everyday challenges the IT field brings.
D: What do you enjoy the most about your current role?
JM: I enjoy working in a team environment and in my current role as project manager for the NS-1 team. The team members all display great teamwork and professionalism. The entire team works together to ensure the company’s goals and objectives are met.
D: What is your favorite motivational quote?
JM: “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement.”
D: Share one statement about your experience with DIVERSANT.
JM: I’ve worked with DIVERSANT on and off over the last 7 years and it has been one of the best working environments that I’ve ever experienced. The DIVERSANT team is extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with.
